Our
annual memorial meeting meeting, commemorating the loss
of family and loved ones - parents, children, and friends will be held on May
2nd in the East End Temple's Social Hall. “Our
Lida Stories”, pictures,
fliers, and items of interest that we have been collecting
and displaying
over the past few years were on display.
We
look forward to your attendance and participation at our next
event. All we request is an understanding heart and a listening
ear.
Snippets,
even
a belief statement, can capture a mural of emotions that describes
the past and powerfully impact all of us gathered today.
Please
encourage your children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends
to attend and participate. We want to share this special
time with them as we remember, together, the loss of our dear
ones.
As the number of original “Menchen”, the remaining
few dwindle, the importance of the second and third generation
increases. Please feel free to offer up any ideas that can
benefit the United Lieder Relief Society.
Also
please note that we are
always looking to update “Our Lida Stories” with
additional information and photos. This journal renews interest
in Lida and the Society and remains a work in progress. The
more memories we share, the deeper the commitment can be for
the
2nd and 3rd generation.
If
you cannot attend and wish to make a donation, please send
your check made out to:

Thank
you. We are looking forward to seeing you and being together
once again.
